This affected everyone. The war talk began at that time. My parents would talk about their upbringing as they were raised during the depression which influenced their entire lives. She served in England and Belgium, and this book describes life in England shortly before the start of the war. It's a window into a time and world gone by, and I'd love an autographed copy!
